CPR instructor certification course

The Instructor course is required to teach CPR and prepares all AHA instructors, regional, national, and Training Center Faculty.

This course contains modules which teach professionalism, course and session preparation, instructional strategies, assessment and evaluation, as well as other important aspects of delivery and management of a classroom/workshop.

The Part 1 course is taught through self-directed online format, self-directed learning through the OKM online system, followed by hands-on skills training in a classroom setting.

Students who complete the course successfully will earn a Certificate of Completion.

Eligibility:

Instructor candidates must align with an AHA Training Center accepting new Instructors after completing Part1 and Part 2, then register on the faculty network to be provided an authorized code to purchase course materials and have access to the vast resources provided by AHA.

CEU:

The maximum number of hours awarded for this CE activity is 7.50 contact hours.

The material required for this course is Instructor Essentials Course Package which must be purchased and may be included in the course fee.
